Charles R. Drew University/OASIS Clinic provides free rapid HIV testing for Los Angeles County residents. HIV testing is an essential community service, and awareness of your status is imperative to decrease the transmission of HIV/AIDS, especially among people of color. Oasis offers free testing along with referrals to follow-up care and community resource programs. Court-ordered testing, including Health Education and Risk Reduction Services, is available.
Providing scholarships, advocacy, support and networking opportunities have been just a few of the ways this organization has and continues to support the University and its mission of having the best and brightest students walk the halls of UCLA.
The Pasadena Community Foundation helps donors maximize the impact of their charitable contributions — strengthening the community, preserving cultural resources, and assisting those in need.
